Are you curious about end time preparation and living in community? If so, this video is for you. Join Tom Stapleton as he shows the wood/coal boiler system that he uses to heat his off-grid home without the need for electricity. Using convection, a boiler below ground level allows hot water to flow into tubing in the slab (a crawlspace also works) to heat the floor from below. This system also heats the domestic hot water. Tom Stapleton gives a short explanation of the indoor/outdoor heated dog bunkhouse (bunkie) that he built to keep the dogs warm during cold Canadian nights. The heat comes by way of a heated waterline in the flooring, which is heated by the wood/coal boiler system. This provides electricity-free heat, not only for the dogs, but for the entire home.

Join Tom Stapleton as he shows how we irrigate our garden using river water. As we were working on this, my wife Judy stated how much we take water for granted. Scripture tells us that those who come through the great tribulation will have hungered and thirsted. Be sure, when looking for a homestead, that you have a plentiful source of water for your gardens. Revelation 7:13-17. To watch on Rumble, click here.

We have been using our Flame View cookstove for 9 months in our off-grid cabin tucked away in the Canadian wilderness. After getting to know the pros and cons of our stove we thought we would put up a review for anyone who is considering a cook stove and would like to know what the Flame View has to offer.

Join Tom Stapleton as he shows how to use a water line to level two 12+ foot logs for a post and beam shed roof.

Join Seth as he shares his wilderness experience in wasp whispering. This 13-year-old young man has an intense interest in nature – insects, birds, and more. In this video, he shows his Grandma Judy the inner workings of a yellowjacket hive that he removed from the camp. God’s nature is quite fascinating. Join Seth for an up close lesson in the inner workings of a yellowjacket nest.

A while back we fence a dog run (and chicken run). Instead of buying treated fence posts, we decided to head out into our wilderness back country and gather dry lodgepole pines and treat them using the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method. Join us on this project as we fenced areas for our animals using a non-toxic, inexpensive method using the resources around us.

You can preserve fresh eggs for use 1 year down the road! In this video we will show you this basic technique called Water Glassing, which has been used historically to preserve eggs. We have had 100% success rate with this method since we started preserving eggs last April, and would like to share it with you!

Tom Stapleton purchased some logging rights on forestry land next to the camp. Watch as he and his crew demonstrate some safe logging techniques. Music: American Country Road downloaded free at Filmstock Wondershare.
